Shift Leader-Red Mill

Gelati Celesti Ice Cream is growing and needs part time Shift Leaders to join our team at our newest location in Red Mill!

We think we have the best job in the world-and we absolutely love what we do. We enjoy indulging in our ice cream as much as we do scooping it for others. With each scoop we serve, we offer up a sweet moment of joy for our customers.

As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading the store operations when the Assistant Manager or General Manager are not present. We'll expect you to lead by example with a positive attitude and good-old-fashioned hard work, focusing on ensuring optimum product quality, strong team leadership, and supreme customer service. We're looking for people who possess a natural ability to connect with people, enthusiastically guiding their teams to give a moment of joy to each and every customer, and who create an upbeat, friendly, and sincerely caring environment for customers.

Full and part time positions available; previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities of the Shift Leader include but are not limited to:

• Leading a Team

• Ordering product and keeping accurate inventory while enforcing food safety regulations and health standards in a clean and organized work area

• Maintaining an effective and positive environment aware of changes, new menu items and procedures

Requirements:

• Ideal candidate will have 1 year of Management experience in a retail environment.

• Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability (daytime, nighttime, weekend, and holiday)

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, with constant moving, bending, lifting, reaching and turning during all shifts

• Must be able to reach and grasp with hands, talk and hear from far away and in close proximity, taste and smell

• Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch while also being able to lift and move up to at least 30 pounds, but occasionally up to 50 pounds or more
