Candidate FAQBefore you applyDo I need sales or marketing experience to apply?
No. We hire for attitude, work ethic and coachability, then train the rest. Many of our strongest team members came from hospitality, athletics, retail or customer service backgrounds with no prior sales experience.
What does the role actually involve day to day?You will represent the brands we work with in face-to-face settings, present their products to customers, answer questions and complete new customer sign-ups. Most days include team training in the morning and field work with your team through the afternoon.
Is there a path to management?Yes. Advancement at Mainline Strategies is merit-based. We develop team members through mentorship and leadership training, and management opportunities go to the people producing results and developing others — not to whoever has been here longest.
Where is the position based?Our office is at 249 Central Park Avenue Suite 133 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Field work takes place across Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake and the wider Hampton Roads area.
