As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Full-Time in Virginia Beach, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the tech, media, or telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when directed, following all established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
