Maintenance Technician II

Join our team at Linkhorn Bar apartments, in Virginia Beach, Virginia as a Maintenance Technician II and take the lead on repairs, preventative maintenance, and building operations for our apartment community. This mid-level role is ideal for those with strong technical skills who take pride in creating safe, high-quality living environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry

* Lead unit turns, preventive maintenance, and common area upkeep

* Support pool maintenance and safety protocols (CPO preferred)

* Maintain tools, supplies, and grounds to PRG standards

* Handle emergency on-call rotations as scheduled

* Diagnose and troubleshoot building systems

* Track inventory and escalate major repair needs

Qualifications

* 2+ years of general or apartment maintenance experience

* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

* CPO and EPA Universal preferred (or ability to obtain)

* Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. and work on-call as needed

* Valid driver's license required

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Comfortable working independently and mentoring others
