Excavator Operator with Excavation Certification

Join our team as an Excavator Operator working on a dynamic and fast-paced project on the Oceana airfield. This role involves operating heavy machinery for pipe work and requires a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

• Safely operate excavators, dozers, and other heavy machinery for pipe work.
• Follow project specifications for accurate excavating and trenching.
• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation checks on machinery.
• Work efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

• Experience with dozer, excavator, excavation, underground digging, and utility work.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to follow project specifications and safety protocols.

• DBIDS certification required.
• Experience working on Oceana is a plus.

Work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, Monday to Friday, for approximately 50 hours a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
