Multiunit Dryer Vent Service Technician

Job Description

NOW HIRING:
Multiunit Dryer Vent Service Technician

Dryer Vent Wizard of Hampton Roads | Hampton Roads, VA

Small Team. Big Projects. Great Opportunity!

Dryer Vent Wizard of Hampton Roads is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Multiunit Service Crew!

We're a veteran-owned, locally operated company proudly recognized as the 2025 Dryer Vent Wizard Franchise of the Year, with more than 700 five-star customer reviews.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding, production-focused position. Our Multiunit Crew services dryer vent systems at apartment communities, condominiums, HOAs, and other large residential properties throughout Hampton Roads.

Unlike residential service technicians who travel between individual homes, our Multiunit Technicians typically work together at one property, cleaning dozens or even hundreds of dryer vents as part of a larger project.

This is a great entry level position to learn our industry and get your foot in the door.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working as part of a close-knit, three-person crew to complete large-scale dryer vent cleaning projects.
• Carrying, positioning, and climbing extension ladders along with ability to lift up to 55lbs
• Accessing rooftops, attics, crawlspaces, and other challenging work areas.
• Operating professional dryer vent cleaning equipment and tools.
• Performing repetitive physical tasks while maintaining a consistent, productive pace.
• Helping the crew meet daily production goals without sacrificing safety or quality.
• Identifying damaged or disconnected dryer vent systems.
• Keeping equipment organized and ensuring work areas are clean and free of debris.
• Following company safety standards and working cooperatively with teammates.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has an extremely positive attitude and is coachable
• Has a strong work ethic and shows up ready to work.
• Enjoys physical, hands-on work and staying active.
• Is comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and at elevated heights.
• Can safely lift and maneuver extension ladders and equipment.
• Can perform repetitive physical work throughout the day
• Works well in a small team where everyone is expected to contribute.
• Understands the importance of maintaining productivity while doing quality work.
• Is dependable, punctual, and willing to help wherever needed.
• Can follow instructions and established safety procedures.
• Has a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC, exterior maintenance, pressure washing, or other physically demanding work is a plus. Previous dryer vent cleaning experience is not required. We provide training.

Why Join Our Team?

• Work with a small, dedicated crew rather than being on your own all day.
• Join an established, award-winning company with a strong reputation.
• Receive hands-on training in a specialized trade.
• Work on a variety of commercial and multiunit properties throughout Hampton Roads.
• Be part of a growing business with opportunities to develop your skills.
• Enjoy a team environment where hard work, accountability, and a positive attitude matter.

Is This the Right Job for You?

This isn't a position where you stand around waiting for the next assignment. Our crew works together to get the job done, and every person plays an important role.

Some days involve climbing ladders repeatedly, working outdoors in the heat or cold, moving equipment, and performing the same tasks across many units.

If you're someone who enjoys working hard, staying busy, and being part of a team that takes pride in a job well done, we'd love to hear from you!

Apply today and join the award-winning Dryer Vent Wizard of Hampton Roads team!
