Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide support and supervision to multiple Before School, After School, and Summer Program staff for school age youth at Virginia Beach Public Schools and community recreation centers, managing and problem-solving multiple crisis related tasks
- Assist with multiple site supervision encouraging and fostering team work at all levels.
- Assist in ratio at program sites
- Assist with weekly, monthly and annual reports including use of Microsoft Office Products
- Provide/assist with program related staff training and development
- Serve on various Out-of-School Time Programs Unit, departmental and City teams and committees, ensuring effective collaborations and partnerships
- Assist with planning and implementation of unit's special events, partnerships and collaborations
- Provide quality internal and external customer service via telephone, email, and in person utilizing excellent oral and written communication skills
- Utilize strong organizational skills to effectively multi-task
Requires a current and valid driver’s license in accordance with DMV driver’s license eligibility requirements.
Completed CPR/First Aid Certification
