Rental Housing Program Manager – Department of Housing & Neighborhood Preservation The City of Virginia Beach is searching for a Rental Housing Program Manager to help shape the future of housing access and support in our city.

What You’ll Lead & Inspire Manage the daily rental housing program operations, including eligibility, leasing, inspections, and ongoing compliance, with excellence and innovation.

Support and empower a skilled team through coaching, mentoring, and collaboration.

Ensure smooth processes for eligibility, recertifications, inspections, and compliance.

Monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to HUD and City requirements.

Cultivate strong partnerships with landlords, partner agencies, and community organizations.

Monitor program data and outcomes – and craft solutions that drive improvement

Champion integrity, accessibility, and outstanding customer service in every interaction.
