POSITION SUMMARY:
Effective management of loading operations to include orders filling/loading of applicable delivery vehicles. Provide direction of 15-20 hourly employees. Oversees product breakage management.
- Pay: $20.40/hour
- Schedule:
Tuesday
- Saturday Hours - Tuesday
- Friday ( 8AM - till finish) Friday (3 AM - till finish)
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
- Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Expense control and implementing safety initiatives.
- Train others to assist in warehouse functions.
- Manage product loading and housekeeping.
- Recommend discipline to Warehouse Supervisor/Manager/Director regarding employee work rule violations.
- Tracks daily picking standards for warehouse associate productivity.
- Checks in drivers ending inventory through driver’s hand held.
- Checks bulk picking orders for accuracy.
- Pulls bulk orders for warehouse pickers as needed.
- Covers delivery supervisors’ responsibilities on Monday.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 2 years Warehouse Supervisory experience;
OR 5 years Warehouse Supervisory experience. - Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Related training or certification.
- Experience working in a team environment.
