Onsite Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Are you a seasoned Accounts Payable professional looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in the construction industry? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable AP Specialist to join our team onsite in Lorton, VA.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong AP background who can hit the ground running, manage high-volume invoices, and support key financial functions in a fast-paced office environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage $1–2 million/month in AP transactions
• Handle AIA billing and lien releases
• Support general office accounting functions
• Utilize Construction Partners software for AP processing
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of AP experience (10+ preferred)
• Strong, steady work history in AP
• Prior exposure to construction accounting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with AIA billing and lien release workflows
• Self-sufficient and organized — can work with minimal training

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the construction industry (commercial or residential)
• Proficiency with Construction Partners or similar accounting software
