As a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional, you’ll build client relationships and help clients make informed decisions about their finances while receiving advanced tax training.

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• High school diploma or higher

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth and increase client retention; offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support and tax notice services
• Mentor and support teammates
• Complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and using virtual tools
• Communicate clearly in person, by phone, and in writing
• Meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
