Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Manages a wide range of administrative, coordination and IT support related tasks to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Safety Team.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepares, edits and distributes routine correspondence, reports and Coordinates Safety Team calendar including key events, Safety Programs and deliverables.
  • Technical support for Safety IT Software, SharePoint (edocument filing), spreadsheets, presentations, etc., as required.
  • Manages the Safety storage inventory and ordering including PPE, training materials and incentives.
  • Monitors, screens and assists in managing Safety email, mail and telephone communications.
  • Assists with coordinating onboarding of Safety Team members, special projects and safety initiatives as needed, including the setting up of Safety Training
  • Document editing, proofing, formatting, and production for SOPs and Training Material

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • Excellent knowledge of Word Processing software, Internet software, and Spreadsheet software
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write basic correspondence.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task

What You Bring To The Table

  • Associate's degree (A.

    A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in administrative role
