High school diploma or GED; five years of experience in increasingly responsible administrative support work, preferably in medical/behavioral health; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience as a medical secretary or receptionist is helpful but not required. Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. Experience using electronic health record systems preferred.
Strong administrative skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills needed. Demonstrated knowledge of Business English, grammar, spelling and punctuation required. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check, and education/degree verification required.
