Description
The National Security Sector within Leidos is seeking a Contract Manager with commercial contracting experience. The selected candidate will report to the Contracts Director and support all contract management activities for a diverse portfolio of contracts for Commercial Airports and DHS agencies.
Primary Responsibilities- Significant experience providing contract management and negotiation support for Commercial and Government contracts, including RFP analysis, hands‑on proposal development and review, development of terms and conditions, coordination of appropriate internal reviews, obtaining various bonds and certificates, strategic contract negotiation, and contract/task order management.
- Responsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws.
- Work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts.
- Pro‑active, forward‑leaning, able to multi‑task, prioritize work activities and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; frequently interact (written, oral, and face‑to‑face) with programs, contracts, project control, finance, business development, and customers.
- Participate in the review and analysis of RFPs to identify and mitigate contract risks.
- Review and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, License Agreements and OCI Mitigation Plans.
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with Commercial, State & Local contracting and Government contracting.
- Experience with Government (FAR/DFAR) contracting:
Fixed Price, Time & Material, Cost Plus Award Fee, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Level of Effort, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contracts. - Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems.
- Ability to make sound business decisions, handle multiple contractual activities with short turnaround time, and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, well‑developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ability to identify and mitigate contract risks and coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with Leidos policy and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Prior experience managing Commercial contracts.
Pay Range: $92,300.00 – $. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation.
