Floaters / Teacher Aides

A+ Childcare and Learning Center is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to support children of all ages.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass all background checks.
• Six months of experience in a childcare setting is preferred.

Monday – Friday; 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Base pay range: $14.00 / hr – $16.00 / hr
. Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of program quality.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establish a professional rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Have the physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
