Location: Aldie, VA 20105
Children: 7-month-old & 2.5-year-old

Compensation: $35-$38/hr
Schedule: 40 guaranteed hrs/week, Monday-Friday, with hours falling between 9 AM and 6 PM. The initial schedule is expected to be 10 AM-6 PM, with flexibility to shift to 9 AM-5 PM or 9:30 AM-5:30 PM as the family’s schedule evolves. Flexibility is essential.

Their youngest son is a happy 7-month-old beginning to reach exciting developmental milestones. The family is seeking a nanny with strong infant experience who feels confident supporting his growth, establishing routines, and guiding him through each stage, including the transition to solids and baby-led weaning when developmentally appropriate.

Their 2.5-year-old son is bright, imaginative, and incredibly verbal. Though he may be shy at first, he quickly warms up to caregivers who are playful, patient, and genuinely engaged. He loves books, music, imaginative play, outdoor adventures, and discovering how the world works. Through everyday play and conversation, he already recognizes letters, numbers, colors, and shapes and can count well beyond twenty.

He attends preschool for half a day in the mornings.

While the primary focus will be caring for the baby during the day, the nanny should also feel comfortable caring for both children together when needed, whether Mom is running errands, attending appointments, or the family would like an occasional evening out.
