Paving Division Manager

Partners Excavating Co. is looking for a proven construction leader to take ownership of our growing asphalt paving operation.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead an established division while helping shape its next phase of growth. We are seeking someone who combines operational excellence with an entrepreneurial mindset; someone who can build teams, develop customer relationships, improve performance, and create a scalable paving business.

As Paving Division Manager, you will work alongside executive leadership to drive revenue growth, strengthen market presence, expand customer relationships, and ensure exceptional project execution across our paving operations.

• Site Development & Grading
• Underground Utilities (Water, Sewer & Storm)
• Asphalt Paving
• Commercial, Industrial, Municipal, and Residential Land Development Projects

Our continued growth has created an opportunity for a strong leader to help expand our paving capabilities and position the division for long-term success.

• Lead all paving operations, personnel, equipment, and projects
• Develop and execute business growth strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, developers, and municipalities
• Oversee estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project performance
• Drive operational efficiency, safety, quality, and profitability
• Recruit, mentor, and develop field and management talent
• Manage division financial performance, backlog, and forecasting
• Collaborate with other company departments to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
• Provide leadership and operational oversight of trucking, hauling, and dispatch functions when serving as backup to the Logistics Manager

• Extensive experience in asphalt paving, roadway construction, site development, or heavy civil construction
• Proven leadership experience managing projects, crews, and equipment
• Track record of improving operational performance and profitability
• Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, production, and job-cost management
• Excellent relationship-building and business development skills
• Working knowledge of trucking, hauling, and logistics operations
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building teams and growing businesses
