Hygienist

General dentist office in Central Virginia, near the Blue Ridge Mountains, looking for motivated dental hygienist. New building, state of the art equipment (including digital x-rays), paperless office. 4-5 days week. 55/hr dependent on experience. Uniform allowance, 401k and health insurance benefits. PTO.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

• Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Administer local anesthesia as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality

• Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred
• Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
• Understanding of infection control procedures in a dental setting
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
