An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Lens Crafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Lens Crafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. As an Associate of a Subleasing Doctor, the terms of agreement, practice model, pay and hours are negotiated directly between you and the Subleasing doctor.

Luxottica operates the optical dispensary while the Affiliated Doctor operates the Doctors office and provides high quality optometric care and service to patients. Working as an Associate Doctor of Optometry within the practice, you have professional autonomy to care for patients and full scope of practice predicated only on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor (no company-imposed restrictions or quotas).

• Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients within the private Independent practice
• Operate the Doctors office within the Subleasing arrangement and collaborate with the Subleasing Doctor
• Maintain professional autonomy in patient care decisions, within the negotiated terms with the Subleasing Doctor
• Utilize available OD equipment and technology, including digital eye examination tools such as Clarifye; use Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System where offered
• Support scheduling processes with the practice, including flexible and part-time options as negotiated
• Coordinate with support staff and ensure a positive patient experience

• Full autonomy in practice within negotiated terms
• Flexible scheduling options including part-time commitments
• Fully furnished office with OD equipment; access to digital eye examination technology
• Pre-testing support and related clinical resources
• Automated online appointment book and patient recall system

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. Additional compensation possibilities may include a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
