Full‑time optometrist in a large integrated eye‑care network.

Eyes On Eyecare is a premier network of integrated eye‑care practices and specialists across Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, with 48 clinics, including satellites and 5 surgery centers. We currently have the largest eye‑care provider in Virginia and serve a mix of medical/vision patients.

• Lead all clinical aspects of the center to ensure the best patient care for general ophthalmology, refractive, cataract, retina, and glaucoma patients.
• Perform comprehensive eye exams, imaging tests, and analyze test results.
• Perform refraction and pre‑ and post‑operative care when needed.
• Work in conjunction with the supervising ophthalmologist for most cases.

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
• Valid state license to practice optometry.
• Medically‑minded OD willing to perform refractions.
• Comfortable with independent decision‑making, providing quality care, and supporting medical aspects and the MD.

• Friendly and upbeat work environment with collaboration with an MD and another OD.
• Access to full‑scope medical equipment, including OCT, visual field, and topographer.
• Work‑life balance: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, no weekends or evenings; ODs typically see 30 patients a day with a scribe and tech.
