We are seeking a dedicated and experienced locum tenens physician specializing in Internal Medicine with a focus on Hematology and Oncology to join our team near Daleville, VA. • Schedule and Duties:

  • Shifts:
    • 4 shifts per week
    • 8-10 hours per day, depending on patient volumes
    • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
  • Patient Volume:
    • 12-15 patients per day
  • Call:
    • Beeper-only call for established patients
    • Very light call: 2-5 calls per week (phone only)
  • Additional Details:
    • Oncology center has 3 additional established permanent providers
    • Currently searching for a full-time Medical Oncologist
    • Driving distance candidates preferred
    • An apartment is available for locums

• Requirements:

  • Board Certification:
    • Yes, Board Certified or Eligible
  • Fellowship:
    • Required
  • Licensure:
    • Licensed in VA or through IMLC
  • Certifications:
    • ABLS:
