A Facility in Grundy Virginia / Buchanan County is looking for an experienced, full-time provider for their ED. This need is full time till the position is filled. (Locum-to-Perm is a strong possibility!)

• Annual Volume- 10,000 +/-
• Physician shifts- (8a-8p)
• APP shifts
  - Intermittent APP coverage
• Number of beds-9 + 4 Fast Track Bays
• Transfer locations- PMC, Ballad (Bristol, Johnson City, Kingsport, Holston Valley), Clinch Valley
• Transfer %- 9
• Admission Rate %-11
• EMR-CPSI
• No Trauma Designation
• Will take FM or IM board with recent EM experience- within 2 years
• Scribes are not available
• ED does not handle admints
• ED will respond to floor codes as a back-up to the hospitalist
• Credentialing can be done w/in a couple weeks pending provider cooperation

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified/ Board Eligible
  -REQUIRED highly prefer BC
• Must have minimum 2 years experience in EM - REQUIRED
• Looking for minimum 14 shifts/month (7on/7 off)
• VA License - REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccination- REQUIRED
• BLS/ACLS - Current at time of submission
• If not EM board certified - will need ACLS, ATLS, BLS and PALS
• Clean background, no malpractice - REQUIRED, no exceptions
• Must submit full presentation with rates and availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
