We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Branchville, VA. Position Overview

• Location: Near Branchville, VA
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Shift Type: 24-hour shifts
• Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM plus on-call coverage
• Weekend Requirements: Yes
• On-Call Requirements: Yes, including after office hours and weekends

Required Duties and Procedures

• Aortic Surgery:
  • Descending Aortic Aneurysms
• Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery:
  • CABG
  • Redo Coronary Revascularization (with or without heart valve surgery)
  • Arterial Revascularization (using internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery)
  • Pericardial Window
  • Tube Thoracostomy
  • Thoracic Aortic Aneurysms
• Thoracic Endoscopy:
  • Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy
  • Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy
  • Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction
  • Mediastinal Surgery
• Vascular Surgery:
  • Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
  • Heart Valve Replacement Without Surgery (Core Valve System)
  • Mitral Valve Repair

Certification and Licensing Requirements

• Board Certification: Required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• State License: Virginia
