A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Troy, Virginia.

This position starts ASAP and offers a 3- or 6-month assignment with the option to extend. Credentialing takes approximately two weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call responsibilities. The role is open to an MD or an autonomous NP and involves seeing about 18-20 adult patients per day. An active Virginia license and DEA are required.

The provider will be supported by RNs and LPNs, and while charting is paper-based, Sapphire is used for prescriptions.
