Neonatal Pediatric Hospitalist

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Hospitalist to join our established neonatal team at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care across the NICU and Newborn Nursery while working alongside experienced neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a collaborative environment. Practice Info

• 22-bed Level III NICU with private rooms
• Approximately 1,700 annual deliveries
• 292-bed hospital recognized for excellence in women's and children's services
• Family-centered maternity program with strong community reputation

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries
• Provide neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
• Diagnose and manage newborn medical conditions
• Care for premature and medically complex infants in conjunction with the Neonatologists
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

Shift & Schedule

Qualifications

• Newborn airway management including intubation
• Umbilical arterial and venous catheter placement
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Experience in neonatal care preferred
