This clinic-based facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support gastroenterology locum tenens coverage. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for an adult patient population.

Virginia's Western Highlands offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural pursuits suited to varied interests. Outdoor activities include hiking, fishing, biking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and stargazing, with notable destinations such as Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns, and Grayson Highlands State Park available to explore. The area also provides opportunities in the arts, dining, shopping, and music, allowing clinicians to engage with both the natural landscape and local culture during time away from clinical responsibilities.

The gastroenterologist will provide clinic-based gastroenterology coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at this on-site facility. Clinical responsibilities include managing adult patients with conditions such as IBD, liver disease, GERD, fatty liver, anemia, dysphagia, and PEG tube management in accordance with established facility protocols. No call coverage and no rounding are required for this locum tenens assignment.

Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
