Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Assistant 3‑Year‑Old Teacher to support young learners in a dynamic and nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will assist the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging lessons that promote early literacy, math, and social‑emotional growth. This role requires patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education. The Assistant 3‑Year‑Old Teacher will help guide students through structured activities, maintain a safe and supportive learning space, and foster positive relationships with children and families.

• Assist the Lead 3‑Year‑Old Teacher in implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support early literacy, math, and social‑emotional growth
• Provide individualized support to children, fostering independence, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Help maintain a structured classroom routine, including transitions, snack time, and group activities
• Encourage creativity and curiosity through hands‑on learning experiences and play‑based activities
• Guide children in positive social interactions, emotional regulation, and cooperative play
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
• Support classroom management strategies to create a nurturing and inclusive learning space
• Communicate effectively with families, sharing updates on student progress and classroom experiences
• Prepare and organize learning materials to enhance student engagement
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and other staff to provide a cohesive and supportive educational experience

• Education Required:
  
  High school diploma
• Education Preferred:
  Associate’s or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Certification: CPR and First Aid certification required; additional childcare‑related certifications are a plus
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience working with preschool‑aged children in a childcare or early education setting preferred

• Understanding of early childhood development and age‑appropriate teaching methods
• Ability to support structured routines, play‑based learning, and social‑emotional growth
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families and staff
• Knowledge of classroom management strategies to create a positive and engaging environment
• Patience, attentiveness, and enthusiasm for guiding young learners
