WAGES: $60 per morning session (1.5 hour per session, 3x/week)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Children's Center for Language & Culture, Inc. (Chi Ce La Cu !) seeks enthusiastic, energetic, independent, and experienced Spanish Teacher for its At Your School Program, taking place before regular school hours at a Fairfax County public school in Great Falls, Virginia. The position requires a minimum commitment to finish the current academic year with the promise of continued employment for the 2025-26 school year.

This position is ideal for a dynamic individual who enjoys working with younger elementary-school age children (grades K to 2nd grade).

All teachers MUST meet the following requirements:

• Fluent Spanish speaker
• Possess or be in the process of acquiring an associate, bachelor or master’s degree in education, humanities or the arts
• Advanced English (written and spoken) is required
• At least 2 years of experience
• Good classroom management skills
• Experience writing and implementing lesson plans
• A team player who is creative, flexible, patient and enjoys working with children
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Minimum commitment for employment:
  September 2025 to May 2026
• Able to work legally in the U.S.

Services focus on teaching children the Spanish language following a long-term, fun and highly effective curriculum. Services include Preschool, Online classes, Saturday School, Tutoring and Summer Camps. In addition, Chi Ce La Cu ! partners with area school PTAs to offer Spanish classes as part of the schools enrichment programs held before or after school hours.
