Substitute Teacher- SRHS, SRMS, GES, SES, MES, HES

Availability:
Substitute must work no less than 1 day a month.

Location:

Substitute must be able and willing to work at any of the listed schools, Staunton River High, Staunton River Middle, Goodview Elementary, Stewartsville Elementary, Moneta Elementary or Huddleston Elementary Schools.

To enable each child/student to pursue an education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of his/her regular teacher.

• Reports to the School Office upon arrival at school to sign‑in.
• Reviews with the substitute plans, attendance forms, and schedules to be followed during the teaching day and will contact the office with questions.
• Teaches the lessons outlined in the absent teacher's lesson plan.
• Follows all policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practices dictates.
• Assumes responsibility for pupil behavior in class during lunch and recess periods, and during fire of other disaster drills.
• Lists assignments made and evaluates student's work.
• Performs such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

Must possess a high school diploma (or GED), an associate degree, or a bachelor's degree. Minimum age shall be eighteen (18) years of age. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

Substitute will be working at Staunton River High, Staunton River Middle, Goodview Elementary, Stewartsville Elementary, Moneta Elementary or Huddleston Elementary Schools.
