Your role will involve a diverse range of responsibilities focused on student success and growth:

• Valid certification as a Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
• Experience working with K-12 students in school-based settings
• Strong skills in assessments, evaluations, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Knowledge of assistive technologies, communication strategies, and accommodations for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for DHH students
• Design and implement individualized lessons and strategies to maximize student participation and achievement
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create accessible learning experiences
• Support the integration of assistive technology in the classroom
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt services as needed for potential coverage leave in the future
