Position:
Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

As a Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside the Lead Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and structured classroom environment for our Pre-K students. You’ll help bring our Balanced Learning® curriculum to life while supporting students as they develop the academic, social, emotional, and independence skills that will prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.

• Assist the Lead Teacher with implementing daily lessons and classroom activities
• Help create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment
• Support students during small-group and individual learning activities
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, meals, rest periods, and outdoor play
• Provide positive guidance and redirection to support appropriate classroom behavior
• Maintain active supervision and help ensure a safe learning environment
• Encourage students’ independence and social-emotional development
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and fellow team members
• Assist with maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom
• Participate in required training and ongoing professional development

• A genuine passion for working with and nurturing young children
• Dependable, patient, positive, and willing to work as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to actively engage with students throughout the day
• Experience working in early childhood education, childcare, preschool, or Pre-K preferred

Salary Range: $15.00–$16.00 per hour
