Overview
Jacobs is hiring a Chemical Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, to work on state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities. The role involves scheduling, technical quality, and process design using a multi‑discipline team.
Responsibilities- Establish chemical process design basis.
- Develop process options and optimize selected designs.
- Calculate and organize data for process flow sheets.
- Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of chemical engineering experience on advanced manufacturing projects (ideal).
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Forward‑thinking and ability to learn quickly.
- Collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
Base pay range: $58,656.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors.
