Solar welcomes accomplished strategy and technology development executive Kristen Griffin, PhD, to the company’s growing senior leadership team. In her role as Chief Product Officer, Kristen will further strengthen and grow the global supply chain for 247
Solar’s factory-produced solutions for day-and-night zero carbon electricity and industrial-grade heat. Kristen will also accelerate the company’s efforts to reduce system costs to support product development and spur sales.
Previously, Kristen led Solar & Storage Product Management for EDF Renewables, where she was responsible for developing and advancing solar and storage product strategies, enhancing product competitiveness, and industrializing new products within her portfolio.
In an earlier role, Kristen led Innovation & Technology Commercialization, setting EDF Renewables’ technology strategy and priorities, maturing and de-risking new technologies for renewable energy projects, and managing all new product lines, including hydrogen and long-duration storage.
Kristen has led Innovation and Product Management portfolios for business units up to $2B in size, demonstrating results in product turnaround, successful product launches, and aligning product capabilities and pricing with emerging customer needs.
