Compensation Range: $200,000 – $250,000 (annualized USD)

Join a mission-critical team as a Senior Network Engineer
, providing technical leadership in the planning, investigation, design, and implementation of complex communications solutions with network-wide impact. You will support enterprise-wide initiatives by designing scalable architectures across physical, logical, and cloud-based network environments.

In this senior role, you will translate user requirements into robust architectures, oversee installation and maintenance activities, design and test network systems, and ensure that networks remain secure, compliant, and optimized for performance. You will influence stakeholders, collaborate with service providers, and guide engineering teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality networking solutions.

• Determine user requirements and design specifications for networks.

• Monitor networks to ensure availability for system users.

• Perform necessary maintenance to support network uptime and reliability.

• Plan, schedule, and conduct installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and software applications.

• Design and conduct tests and evaluations of networks; analyze and organize integrated hardware and software solutions through modeling and planning.

• Design and implement migrations to public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.

• Recommend and implement serverless application offerings from major cloud providers.

• Perform system-level design and configuration, including hardware, operating systems, and platform specifications.

• Evaluate new network technologies and provide recommendations for integration into existing networks.

• Plan network configurations and ensure smooth integration into existing environments for optimal performance.

• Deliver solutions that integrate concepts across engineering disciplines and technical environments.

• Influence team members, customers, and vendors in defining and developing solutions for voice, data, and image communications requirements.

• Prepare advanced work prints and schematics to illustrate complete network structures and solutions.

• Identify and recommend new design tools for communications projects.

• Evaluate projected network usage and implement appropriate design and performance solutions.

• Participate in and influence marketing proposals by contributing technical solutions, costing models, and expert analysis.

• Identify product modifications and integrate changes into engineering work products.

• Plan, design, and implement network management systems to monitor, diagnose, control, and measure performance across multiple networks.

• Identify, analyze, and recommend administrative tools to optimize network operations.

• Establish network information requirements by conducting analysis to support custom networking infrastructure solutions.

• Design architectures including software, hardware, and communications layers to support present and future cross-functional requirements.

• Ensure network and transport layers within the common operating environment remain compliant.

• Evaluate workflow and network usage issues, develop corrective actions, and optimize network structures.

• Provide daily supervision and technical direction using Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.

• Extensive experience in network traffic analysis, network security, and interconnecting technologies.

• Expertise in network penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.

• Deep knowledge of Cisco networking products and deployment methodologies.

• Experience collaborating with Internet Service Providers and data center resellers.

• Senior-level experience serving as a technical lead on major programs or projects.
