Senior Project Manager – Dewberry
Dewberry is seeking a qualified, licensed design professional to join its federal intelligence community (IC) facilities design practice. The firm is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with professional credentials as a registered architect and/or professional engineer.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage federal IDIQ contracts and task orders as well as stand‑alone federal design contracts for major projects.
- Maintain positive client relationships through timely communication and personal involvement.
- Develop project work plans, budgets, schedules, and coordinate in‑house and out‑of‑house disciplines.
- Assign duties and lead team efforts.
- Ensure effective Design Review and QC processes.
- Initiate invoice reviews and assist in past‑due accounts receivable collection.
- Execute contract adjustments based on scope modifications.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain external project budgets.
- Document and assure execution of project goals.
- Operate at an agreed‑upon utilization level.
- Perform other related work as assigned.
- Deliver design‑bid‑build and design‑build projects as prime or lead A/E firm under a qualified design‑builder.
- Manage multi‑discipline teams providing technical guidance and design for facilities planning, construction, and operation.
- Hold a DoD Federal Clearance within the last 12 months;
Project Management Professional certification preferred.
- BS in Engineering or Bachelor of Architecture required;
Master of Architecture preferred. - 15+ years of progressive technical experience in project management and delivery of professional services for federal clients.
- DoD Federal Clearance within the last 12 months.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Project Management Professional certification preferred.
- Proven success in meeting quality, schedule, cost, and risk objectives on multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and self‑motivated.
- Self‑starter in a client‑A/E team environment.
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass a driving record background check.
