Industrial Engineering Co‑Op (Summer 2026)

As a Fed Ex Co‑Op, you will be working on projects that give you valuable, real‑world experience in a professional environment related to your field of study.
Essential Functions- Present and deliver long‑term solutions that will have significant impact on the business and/or customer experience.
- Participate in networking and/or community service events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
This co‑Op rotation is the first of 2–3 additional rotations, working 40 hours/week with an anticipated start date of May 2026.

Minimum EducationCurrently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Preferred:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related quantitative discipline.
- Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.
- Time management, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills necessary to work in a fast‑paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate across business units and to all levels of management.
- Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python preferred. Experience with time studies and productivity analysis preferred. Undergraduate students preferred.
Pay and BenefitsSalary is $25/hour for undergraduates and $30/hour for graduates. A $2,000 stipend is available for candidates relocating over 50 miles for an on‑site or hybrid internship or co‑Op experience.
Work LocationThe desired location for this position is Pittsburgh, PA.
