We’re looking for a candidate to work in the Elkton, Virginia brewery as part of the Information Technology team. The engineer will work closely with Plant Operations to maintain and update the MES solution, support automation integration, and lead process improvement projects.
Base pay range: $94,000.00 – $ per year.
What You’ll Be Brewing- Provide technical leadership and support to on‑shift Engineering Technicians.
- Coach and train Plant Operations staff on MES usage and software systems.
- Ensure the integrity and stability of brewery Process Automation and MES solutions in a 24x7 environment.
- Maintain software change management and version control of production systems.
- Lead integration of future MES solutions and enterprise capital projects.
- Previous manufacturing experience with MES systems and/or programming.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Strong project management skills and ability to deliver complex projects quickly.
- Diplomatic, professional, and effective at building business relationships.
- Knowledge of GE Proficy, GE Historian, OPC, SQL, Rockwell PLC, Wonderware, and SAP.
- Service Management and Delivery (ITIL) knowledge a plus.
- Background check consent required (locally applicable).
