Experienced Inside Surveyor / Licensed Surveyor
$8K-$12K Bonus + Ownership Opportunity / Profit Share Earnings)
A growing civil engineering and surveying firm is seeking a full-time Experienced Inside Surveyor / Licensed Surveyor to join their Williamsburg office.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare proposals, support RFP responses, and assist with competitive bid pursuits
- Communicate with clients and maintain strong professional relationships
- Provide surveying services and oversee project delivery
- Manage survey field crews and coordinate project activities
- Ensure contract management and project profitability
- Support business development and expand survey client relationships
Qualifications:
- Virginia Professional Land Surveyor license required
- 5+ years of experience in land development and public works projects
- Experience with subdivisions, site plans, rezoning, and municipal projects
- Ability to supervise teams and coordinate survey operations
- Strong working relationships with municipalities and approval agencies
- Experience with boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, boundary line adjustments, construction stakeout/as-builts, and builder packages
