Pro Flex offers physical and occupational therapy as well as athletic training services. We offer Certified Hand therapy services, Pelvic Floor treatment, Lymphedema management, Blood Flow restriction, Dry Needling, and a host of other specialty services. Our therapists enjoy a variety of orthopedic and post-surgical patients from multiple referral sources in the communities we serve.

We Are Looking For Physical Therapist Assistants That Have:

• A passion for physical therapy and helping people
• A desire to learn, grow and share your knowledge
• A strong interest in manual therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Carry out individual physical therapy treatment plans that have been developed by a physical therapist.
• Apply modalities to patients in accordance with established procedures and Plan of Care.
• Train patients in exercise, ambulation, activities of daily living, use of adaptive equipment and positioning aids.
• Document patient/client progress by adding to and maintaining ongoing records such as progress notes.
• Refer patients to other services when appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Notify supervising therapists when a patient needs evaluation in accordance with the State practice laws.
• Participate in in-services to broaden knowledge of physical therapy and other related topics.
• Participate in educational programs that meet the States CEU requirements and licensure.
• Provide in-services on continuing education courses to other staff members.
• Participate in special outpatient programs.

Certification/License:

• Current State of Maryland or Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant license.(Required)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
