Our multifaceted approach aims to relieve clinical, operational, financial, and practical burdens from owners, administrators, and staff so they can focus on their responsibilities and improve facility management.

• Plan, direct and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care.
• Daily travel to various facilities. Regions can vary based on scheduling needs.
• Examine and treat chronic and acute wound-related illnesses and injuries.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and recommend appropriate follow-up.
• Refer to and update physicians, write prescriptions, and perform bedside wound care procedures.
• Collaborate with the medical director in resident and staff care and treatment.
• Perform wound debridement as appropriate (sharp, enzymatic, autolytic, or surgical) in the patient’s setting and complete associated procedures.
• Apply and manage topical wound care products and wound management strategies.
• Recommend related services to improve wound healing outcomes.
• Educate patients and primary care physicians on current wound management practices.

• Proof of Covid vaccination.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state.
• Current Active, unrestricted state APRN license or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
• Current approval by the Board of Nursing to perform medical acts.
• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to stand and walk for 4+ hours.
• Able to lift 100 pounds to assist fallen residents.
• Able to lift 10 pounds for routine performance of essential functions.
• Pushing/pulling 70+ pounds when administering patient care.
• Bending/squatting/kneeling/twisting during patient care.
• Depth perception for performing medical procedures.

• May be exposed to adverse indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, blood borne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks), and chemical hazards.
• Will travel to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within the local area.
• The position requires Covid vaccination.
