Full-time (40 hrs/week), Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm

Inova Multispecialty Clinic in Ashburn, VA is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join the Pediatric multidisciplinary team at our newest Clinic slated to open in January 2026.

• Performs comprehensive testing and eye evaluations to ensure optimum vision for all Eye Clinic patients.
• Conducts various testing (visual field, acuity, color vision, potential acuity meter, biometric A-scans, external and slit lamp, pachymetry).
• Uses standards, guidelines and pathways, incorporating data to improve care.
• Regularly cleans, maintains, calibrates, and performs minor repairs on clinic equipment; informs appropriate department for additional maintenance; manages surgical scheduling.
• Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with other clinical disciplines.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two years as an Ophthalmic Technician.
• Experience working with pediatric population is highly preferred.

• Ophthalmic technician certification is highly preferred.
• Experience working with the pediatric population.
