Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional – Merakey, Allegheny County

We are currently seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division.

Qualified entry‑level candidates are eligible for up to $18.00/hour with the Enhanced Pay Program and/or Shift Differential for applicable hours.

The role involves providing individualized care, assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining living areas, guiding residents through leisure activities, work and day programming, and performing essential household chores.

• Providing individualized care, activities of daily living, and maintaining living area.
• Guiding residents in leisure activities, work, and day programming.
• Performing everyday chores such as laundry and housekeeping to maintain a normal living environment.
• Working in accordance with procedures under the supervision of the House Manager, who reviews results through observation, reports, and periodic meetings.
• Following designated shift routine and assignments outlined by the House Manager.
