Diagnostic/X-Ray Technologist (Weekdays, Full-time) – Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, Zion Crossroads, Charlottesville, VA

UVA Imaging is growing and seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a full‑time day position at our outpatient imaging center at Zion Crossroads. We are looking for a technologist ready to grow and advance their skills. We offer paid holidays and advanced imaging training for Dexa and Mammography to the right candidate. Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the Diagnostic Imaging technologist:

• Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Education:

• Minimum Associate’s Degree in Radiology or completion of an accredited two‑year radiology program.

License / Certification:

• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintaining current valid registration from ARRT.
• Meet state licensure requirements in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
