Reports ToPharmacy Supervisor of Fulfillment Operations
PurposeThe Clinical Pharmacist, Fulfillment manages drug distribution and related activities for patients enrolled at PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy. The role safely and efficiently dispenses and ships medications, packages cold chain shipments, follows all fulfillment processes, and mentors staff.
Responsibilities- Complete verification of prescription orders during the fulfillment process.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff throughout daily activities.
- Assist in developing and executing quality and production standards in the fulfillment area.
- Create and conduct staff training for new processes and process changes.
- Participate in regular meetings with leadership to discuss staff needs and accomplishments.
- Perform fulfillment pharmacist duties during on-call hours on a rotating basis; on-call duties may involve transporting products to and from Panther facilities.
- Handle additional projects and activities as assigned.
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Registered Pharmacist degree from an ACPE accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist Licensure for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Active and valid driver’s license.
- 5 years of experience as a practicing, licensed pharmacist.
- 2-4 years of specialty pharmacy experience.
This position operates in a well-lit, mail order distribution pharmacy environment and is 100% onsite. The role routinely uses pharmaceutical equipment and safety supplies.
Physical DemandsIndividual must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and use the computer and bar code scanner. Must use proper personal protective equipment, including gloves, eye protection, and face masks when needed.
