Senior Helpers is currently recruiting professional, caring, and reliable caregivers to work with our senior clients that need a helping hand with daily ADLs, errands, rides to doctor’s appointments, and companionship from energetic people to fill their time during the day while the family is at work or school.

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal Care (assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, feeding)
• Light housekeeping/household management (incl. laundry and linen changing)
• Apparel selection (i.e. laying out clothes)
• Meal planning and preparation
• Medication reminders
• Mobility support (standby assist, transfer, hoyer lift)
• Transportation using own or client’s vehicle
• Helping family members learn safe care techniques
• Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)

• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level and interpret the Plan of Care Document provided by Senior Helpers
• Spanish speakers welcomed; se habla Español
• Ability to drive is preferred
• Ability to use public transportation to get to work
• Valid US issued driver’s license with no serious driving violations
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers
• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus, but not required
• Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies

Competitive pay. Minimum shifts are 4 hours.
