DV Safe‑House Case ManagerThe DV Safe‑House Case Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of an individual’s or family’s needs relative to their safety and other client‑identified goals while they are residents of the ACTS Safe House. The case manager provides crisis response, facilitates individual and group support, and participates on‑call as assigned for the Lethality Assessment Program (LAP). In addition, the case manager provides educational services for the community and allied professionals.

- Position Title: Domestic Violence Case Manager
- Department: Domestic Violence
- Pay: $53,047.64 per year ($1,000 additional per year for bilingual English and Spanish, French or Arabic)
- Reports to: Safe‑House Supervisor
- Hours per week: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am‑5 pm (flexibility for client needs or events, including holidays)
- Telework Friendly: Yes (application and approval required)

- Effective Date: December 1 , 2025
- Deliver crisis intervention services to victims and their families.
- Conduct client intakes and exit interviews.
- Collaborate with residents to develop short‑ and long‑term goals.
- Assist clients in applying for benefits and accessing community resources.
- Facilitate support groups and provide individual advocacy.
- Maintain accurate case records and enter data into VADATA and other systems.
- Coordinate with internal specialists to ensure holistic family support.
- Build relationships with emergency providers and referral partners.
- Provide on‑call support for the Lethality Assessment Program (LAP).
- Lead training for staff, volunteers, and community partners.
- Respond to urgent needs both in‑office and during on‑call shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Completion of 40 hours of domestic violence crisis intervention training (provided by ACTS).
- Commitment to 40 hours of continuing education annually.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non‑judgmental approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm in high‑stress situations.
- Flexible schedule to meet client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in counseling or human services.
- Experience working with clients in crisis.
- Skilled in group facilitation and public presentations.
- Preferred: experience in shelter or safe‑house environments.
