Resident Medication Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Medication Associate to join our healthcare team in Berryville, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with their medication management, ensuring accurate administration, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Assist residents with the administration of prescribed medications in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records for each resident.
• Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects and report concerns promptly to healthcare professionals.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medications to maintain safety and efficacy.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members regarding medication schedules and changes.
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to medication administration.

• Proven experience as a Resident Medication Associate or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work compassionately with elderly or disabled residents.
• Certification or training relevant to medication administration is preferred.
