CIS Secure will be leading a multi-year program in partnership with an industry Integrator to deliver a next-generation secure communication system for aircraft operations. Based in Ashburn, VA, this initiative will produce a ruggedized, military-grade VOIP solution that enables secure voice and data communication across multiple classified domains. The program spans the full engineering lifecycle, from requirements analysis and preliminary design through prototyping, integration, and verification testing, executed under AS6500, AS9100, and CMMI standards.
The Program Manager
, reporting to the Senior Program Manager and alongside additional project leadership, will play a critical role in establishing processes, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, driving schedule and risk management, and ensuring readiness of all deliverables within the first 90 days. - Orchestrate end‑to‑end project execution ensuring on time, on scope, and on budget execution of DOD 5000 project.
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and mitigation plans to accurately measure project health and adjust course as necessary to ensure successful project execution if risks are realized.
- Develop burn profiles utilizing Basis of Estimate and Labor Rates to project weekly/monthly cost incurred.
- Serve as primary point of contact for key stakeholders including Executive Management.
- Mentor team members thus elevating the overall skillset of the team.
- Ensure processes are followed and deliverables are made exceeding internal quality standards and exceeding customer expectations.
- This position anticipates on‑site work with regular hours, Monday‑Friday. Occasional telework may be considered and will be discussed as a part of the interview process.
- Primary work location will be the CIS Secure headquarters located in Ashburn, VA. Minimal local travel is anticipated for this position.

- Project Management Professional, PMP, highly preferred.
