Key Responsibilities

  • Design AI-powered solutions that align with federal digital transformation goals, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and ethical AI standards.
  • Translate business needs into scalable AI architectures, leveraging leading cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and federal stakeholders to define solution roadmaps and delivery milestones.
  • Ensure adherence to federal compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and Section 508, while embedding responsible AI practices into all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Lead technical discovery and solutioning workshops with agency clients to assess current-state capabilities and define future-state AI strategies.
  • Support proposal development and pre-sales efforts by contributing technical expertise and aligning solutions with federal procurement requirements.
  • Stay current on emerging AI trends and certifications, and integrate new capabilities into solution offerings to maintain competitive advantage.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, mathematics, or a closely related field. A Master's degree or MBA with a focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, or advanced analytics is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior or Principal AI Architect, with a proven record of designing enterprise-grade AI systems, cloud-based ML infrastructure, and leading large-scale AI transformation initiatives.
  • 7–12 years of experience in strategic AI consulting, demonstrating deep expertise in AI platform architecture, neural network design, and digital modernization powered by artificial intelligence.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in developing enterprise AI strategies and roadmaps, including technology selection, responsible AI and risk management, and complex integrations with public- and private-sector systems.
  • Proven ability to lead AI architecture workshops and facilitate strategic technical discussions with executive and technical stakeholders on advanced AI adoption and scaling strategies.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise AI, automation, and MLOps concepts, including translating advanced AI/ML topics into actionable, business-relevant insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Extensive experience conducting AI maturity assessments and delivering actionable recommendations for organizational transformation and AI-driven innovation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts, influence decision-makers, and align diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
