Tek Synap is a fast‑growing high‑tech company partnering with the U.S. Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) to support federal IT systems. We are looking for a Senior Forensic Technician/Analyst to provide advanced forensic examination and information management oversight.

• Develop, test, and implement network infrastructure contingency and recovery plans.
• Perform packet‑level analysis and interpret user and functional requirements.
• Provide forensic examination reports, review and edit security publication drafts, and maintain adherence to NSWCDD security guidelines.
• Apply risk‑management processes, assess and mitigate risk, and utilize cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Leverage networking concepts, protocols, and cloud security methodologies for private, public, multi‑cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Maintain an active IAT Level III certification.

Six (6) years of professional experience providing software, hardware, and wireless support, including mobile forensic examination, based on submitted requirements.

Candidate will work on‑site.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an IT‑related field is preferred.

• DoD 8570 IAT III (mandatory).
• One of the following certifications: CASP‑CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or CISSP Associate, GCED, GCIH.
• Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) required within 90 days after contract award.

Regular use of hands, reach, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. Able to lift up to 10 lb routinely and up to 25 lb or 50 lb occasionally.
